It is with great sadness that I have to announce
the Death of one of our Lodge Members:
Bro. Alan K. Hields,
PGStwd.
For those of you who knew and remember Alan,
He was initiated in Gateshead Fell Lodge in 1975.
Although Alan never went through the chair of the Lodge
he was a very active member having served as Lodge
Almoner
for Twelve years and only
his recent ill health prevented his
attendance at the Lodge meetings.
He was appointed to the Office of Provincial G.Stwd.
in 2006.
He was well respected by all who knew him and will
be sadly missed.
Alan passed away on Saturday 3rd October
2009 aged 87 years.
Please remember Alan, and think of him in
your prayers.
So Mote It Be.
